Delete Your HailBound Account

Delete in the app

1. Open HailBound and sign in.
2. Open Account → Account settings → Delete account.
3. Read the consequences, type DELETE, and confirm.

Signing out or uninstalling alone does not delete your account.

Request deletion without the app

Email support@hailbound.com with the subject HailBound account deletion request. Include the account email address, and preferably send the request from that address. You do not need to reinstall the app or buy a subscription. If you cannot use the account email, explain that so we can arrange an ownership check. Do not send your password, reset code or payment-card details.

We verify ownership before processing requests and may contact you for the information needed to do that. Deletion requests are handled through this support inbox. Contact the same address to ask about the status of your request.

What account deletion removes

Deletion removes your account profile and sign-in credentials/session records from the account database, along with account-linked recovery records, saved alert settings/areas, push registrations/delivery records, support/feedback submissions, membership and access grants. If you own a team, its removal ends members’ Team access; their separate accounts are not deleted.

What may remain

Billing ownership, billing events and referral/security records can remain to verify transactions, prevent duplicate rewards or abusive restores, resolve disputes and meet applicable obligations. These can include transaction/billing identifiers and normalized email hashes; they are not necessarily anonymous. An invitation email belonging to another team may remain in that team’s records. Delivered support mail and copies held by providers, logs or backups are separate from the account database and are not all automatically erased by the in-app action.

Ask us about specific retained information or related provider/support copies when requesting deletion. Retention depends on the purpose of the record, security/fraud needs, unresolved requests/disputes and applicable obligations. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.

Cancel subscriptions separately

Deleting your HailBound account does not cancel Individual or Team subscriptions. Cancel renewals in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. The owner must manage a Team subscription; teammates leaving a team do not cancel it. If you purchased through another store, use that store’s subscription controls. Contact support before deletion if you need help avoiding overlapping subscriptions.
